Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has been named the best coach of the season in the Premier League, the Citizens' official website reports.
In the 2022/23 season, Josep Guardiola managed to lead the team to another league title and the FA Cup final. Roberto De Zerbi, Eddie Gau, Unai Emery, Mikel Arteta and Marcos Silva were also contenders for the title of the best coach of the year.
For Josep Guardiola, this award was his fourth in the Premier League. In this respect, the Spaniard is only behind the legendary Alex Ferguson, who won the award 11 times.
"I would like to thank everyone involved in my being named Coach of the Year. First of all, I want to share this with my fellow nominees. They have all done an incredible job this season," Guardiola was quoted as saying by the Citizens' official website.
