Another tragic news has come from the frontline... Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Korovyakovsky was killed in the war.
Vitaliy worked for Dynamo Kyiv from 2007 to 2016, in the club's TV and media department. Since the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity, he has been helping the Red Cross as a volunteer medic. In 2014, he went to the front to defend Ukraine from the Russian invasion in the east of the country. He was taken prisoner, and after returning, he resumed a full life, started a family, and raised his children. In 2022, after the outbreak of a full-scale war, he again consciously went to defend Ukraine from the enemy.
Vitaliy has received many awards from the state - for saving people during the Revolution of Dignity, for his active citizenship and assistance to the ATO, the award of the Rapid Response Units of the Red Cross of Ukraine, the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.
Known among his colleagues as Lucky, Vitaliy was always an incredibly sincere, sensitive, open and fair person, a man who was ready to help in any situation, who was ready to give his last for his own... Vitaliy died a Hero. All Dynamo players express their sincere condolences to Vitaliy's family and friends. May he rest in peace...
