Former France international Karim Benzema is leaving Real Madrid, according to journalist Gianluca di Marzio.
The 35-year-old is parting ways with the Spanish capital after 14 seasons in which he scored 353 goals in 647 games, won the La Liga title four times and the Champions League five times. He also won football's biggest individual award, the Ballon d'Or, in 2022.
According to Di Marzio, Benzema decided to leave Real Madrid after being tempted by an offer from Saudi club Al Ittihad, worth around €100 million.
"Real will not receive a penny for the rights to their top scorer as Benzema's contract with the club expires on June 30.
