Legendary forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced the end of his professional football career.
Yesterday, June 4, after the Italian league game between AC Milan and Verona, Ibrahimovic announced that he was ending his career as a player. The Swede's contract with the Italian club ends in the summer and Zlatan has decided not to renew it.
"I can't breathe, but it's all good. So many memories at the San Siro. You gave me first love, then happiness. I want to thank my family for their patience. I want to thank my other family: the players. I thank the coach, the staff, the managers. Finally, but from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you, the fans. It is time to say goodbye to football, but not to you," said Ibrahimovic.
Recall that during his career Ibrahimovic played at Ajax, Inter, Juventus, Manchester United, Barcelona, LA Galaxy, PSG, Milan. The forward scored 62 goals in 122 matches for the Sweden national team. In total, Zlatan has won 32 trophies in his 25-year career as a footballer.
