"Tottenham reach agreement with Celtic coach Postecoglou

"Tottenham is close to appointing Celtic coach Angelos Postecoglou as the team's head coach, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano said on Twitter.

The Londoners' management reached a verbal agreement with the 57-year-old specialist. A two-year agreement with the Australian coach may be announced in the coming days. To complete the transfer, Spurs need to agree on the amount of compensation with Celtic.

Under Postecoglou's leadership, Celtic won the Scottish league, Scottish Cup and League Cup this season.
