"Brighton reach agreement with Milner and Dowd

"Brighton are preparing to officially announce the signing of two newcomers, James Milner and Mahmoud Daoud, talkSPORT reports.

According to a source, the Seagulls' bosses have already agreed on personal terms with the two players, who were brought in for free. Perhaps neither Milner nor Dowd is considered by De Zerbi as a core player, but this pair should help Brighton to more easily endure the loss of two leaders, as well as add experience for the Europa League, where the Seagulls qualified for the 2022/23 season.

It will be recalled that Milner's previous club was Liverpool, while Mahmoud Daoud played for Borussia Dortmund.
