Today, on 7 June, the training camp of the Ukrainian national team, which will prepare for the final tournament of Euro 2023 (U-21), begins in Austria.
In the evening, Ruslan Rotan will have 24 players at his base in Styria. One footballer, Ivan Zhelezko, will arrive at the national team's location on 10 June after playing for his club Valmiera in the Latvian championship the day before.
Meanwhile, it has become known that our team will play two sparring matches during the Austrian training camp. On 13 June, the youth national team of Ukraine will meet their peers from Kuwait (the match starts at 19.00 Kyiv time), and on 16 June they will play Ireland (19.00).
The national team's official application for Euro 2023 will include 23 players, and the list may also include those players who have been called up for the June training camp of the national team of Ukraine.
In June, the youth national team of Ukraine will take part in the final tournament of Euro 2023 (U-21). A total of 16 teams will take part in the forum, which will take place from 21 June to 8 July in Georgia and Romania. As a result of the draw, which took place on 18 October last year in Bucharest, the blue and yellows got into Group B, where they will meet Romania, Spain and Croatia. The three best teams at Euro 2023 (except France and England) will receive tickets to the 2024 Olympic Games.
