AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani has commented on the dismissal of Paolo Maldini as Technical Director.

We want the club to progress on and off the pitch. We want the club to compete with the leading teams in Europe. We have decided to reorganise, which has led to the creation of a working group to develop the technical and sports aspects of the club," said Giorgio Furlani.
We would like to add that this season, AC Milan finished fourth in Serie A and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
