Last Friday, the Ukrainian national team held its first training session in Bremen under the leadership of its new head coach, Serhii Rebrov. To be more precise, this working day of the Blue and Yellows included two training sessions at once.
The sessions were quite intense and varied. During the morning session, the players worked on their ball handling techniques - receiving and passing. At the same time, the main vector of work was tactical.
In the evening, the team worked on passing with completion, after which the national team performed tactical tasks in the format of game series.
Prior to the evening training session, the mayor of Bremen, Andreas Bovenschulte, visited the Ukrainian national team, spoke to head coach Serhii Rebrov, expressed his support for the Ukrainians and said that it was a great honour for the people of Bremen to host the national team of Ukraine.
As a memento of the meeting, the mayor received a ball signed by the Blue and Yellows and a photo with the team.
On Saturday, the Ukrainian national team will continue its work.
