Renowned Ukrainian TV presenter Igor Tsyganik has shared his prediction for the Champions League final, in which English Manchester City and Italian Inter will play today.
Igor Tsyganik"It's about time Manchester City finally won the Champions League, they deserve it. There is some kind of regularity and cyclicality, as an example: Messi won the World Cup, Napoli won the Scudetto, it's time for Guardiola and the Citizens to take the Champions League trophy.
I can't say I'll be rooting for this team but, objectively speaking, City are the clear favourites to win. Yes, Inter should be given their due. They've had a tough journey to the final, passing their fellow countrymen from Milan with confidence. Against City, the Italians will opt for defensive tactics, play close football and try to cling to the ball.
However, Manchester City's pressure should overcome Inter's resistance, it seems to me. I'm betting on a City triumph with a -1.5 handicap and on goals by the Citizens in both halves of the final match," said Tsyganik.
