Tragedy has befallen the family of Dynamo Kyiv defender Nikita Burda. A cousin of the Dynamo trainee, Dmytro, died in the war with the Rascists. He had been in one of Ukraine's hot spots, in Mariupol, since the start of the full-scale invasion, deciding to stay in the city and defend the city and country with arms in hand.
Dmytro, Nikita Burda's cousinAt the end of March last year, the 25-year-old warrior made his last contact with his family and, as it became known later, died on the same dates. And all this time, for over a year, he was reported missing.
Just the other day the family received a phone call and were told that the DNA of the body remains found matched the DNA of the father. So the relatives were only able to bury Dmitri`s body properly now.
