Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez has extended his contract with the Madrid club. The 33-year-old's previous contract with the creamy outfit expired in June.

"I'm sticking by my club and my family. There are always offers from other clubs, but I have decided to stay for another year. I am very happy about it," the Spaniard told Cadena COPE.

Last season, Nacho played 27 matches for Real Madrid in La Liga, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
