Chelsea's Ukrainian midfielder Mikhail Mudrik wants to be included on the Ukraine national youth team's entry list to the U-21 finals, which take place June 21-July 8 in Georgia and Romania, according to The Telegraph.
According to the newspaper, this desire of the 22-year-old footballer is due to the desire to regain his best form before Chelsea start preparations for next season.
It is also reported that Mudrik's desire to do so has impressed new Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who will officially start at the London club on July 1.
Recall that currently Mudryk is in the Ukraine national team, which on June 16 and 19 will play its next qualifying matches for Euro 2024 - against Northern Macedonia and Malta respectively. As it was previously reported, the application of the Ukrainians for the UEFA EURO is preliminary and it can include players who are currently in the camp of the national team.
