Last Wednesday, their final day in Bremen, the Ukrainian national team began with a morning training session.
After running a few laps, the team practiced their ball handling techniques, having been tasked with passing with a maximum of two touches in a large circle, and then worked on medium passes and moved on to the main work.
Serhii Rebrov and his coaching staff are preparing the team for the next match against the national team of Northern Macedonia, so the tactical and game work is carried out with the nearest opponent in mind.
The training session was attended by 25 players. Two players were absent - Valerii Bondar and Oleksandr Pikhalonok. The former had an adductor muscle injury, while the latter had problems with his foot. Unfortunately, both players will not be able to help the Ukrainian national team in the June matches.
In the afternoon, the Blue and Yellows left for Bremen Airport, from where they headed to the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje. In the evening, the national team's programme included only hotel accommodation, dinner and recovery. Today, the team will hold a pre-match training session at the Tosje Proeski stadium, where the Euro 2024 qualifying match between North Macedonia and Ukraine will take place tomorrow.
