UEFA had to apologize for the scandalous incident with the Ukrainian flag at the Champions League final, RIA Novosti reported in its Telegram channel.
Recall that before the start of the game, which took place in Istanbul, stadium staff tried to snatch the Ukrainian flag from one of the fans, which expectedly caused indignation in the entire civilized community (the repulsed population of a non-country called Russia does not count).
Ultimately, UEFA declared they had not banned the display of Ukraine's flags, and the Turkish security service working at the stadium was to blame for the episode.
