According to Russian sports propagandists, a tournament involving three foreign clubs is planned to be held in July at the base of Zenit Pererburg.
Turkish Fenerbahce, Serbian Red Star and Azerbaijani Naftchi have agreed to come to Russia.
As a reminder, UEFA and FIFA have banned Russian clubs and the national team from playing in all civilised official tournaments since the 2021/2022 season due to the terrorist country's attack on Ukraine. Since then, its clubs have been playing in the so-called "Russian Championship" and the national team has been honing its skills in sparring matches with teams from Asia. An attempt to play an African team ended in failure.
