The head coach of the youth national team of Ukraine Ruslan Rotan has determined the list of 23 players who will play at the 2023 European Championship among U-21 teams.
Goalkeepers: Ruslan Neshcheret (Dynamo), Anatoliy Trubin (Shakhtar), Kyrylo Fesyun (Kolos).
Defenders: Kostyantyn Vivcharenko, Oleksandr Syrota (both Dynamo), Maksym Taloverov (LASK, Austria), Oleksiy Sych (Kortrijk, Belgium), Rostyslav Lyakh (Rukh), Maksym Bragaru (Chernomorets), Arseniy Batahov (Zorya), Volodymyr Brazhko (Zorya).
Midfielders: Ivan Želizko (Valmiera, Latvia), Oleksiy Kashchuk (Sabah, Azerbaijan), Mykola Mykhailenko (Oleksandriya), Oleksandr Nazarenko (Dnipro-1), Dmytro Kryskiv, Oleh Ocheretko, Artem Bondarenko, Heorhiy Sudakov (all of Shakhtar).
Forwards: Bohdan Viunnyk (GAK, Austria), Danylo Sikan (Shakhtar), Mykhailo Mudryk (Chelsea, England), Vladyslav Vanat (Dynamo).
A total of 16 teams will take part in the forum, which will be held from 21 June to 8 July in Georgia and Romania. As a result of the draw, which took place on 18 October last year in Bucharest, the Blue and Yellows were placed in Group B, where they will meet Romania, Spain and Croatia. The three best teams at Euro 2023 (except France and England) will receive tickets to the 2024 Olympic Games.
