A key factor in the Frenchman's decision to join Milan in 2019 was director Paolo Maldini, who was fired by the club earlier this month, which could lead to Hernandez's departure.
Last season, Theo made 43 appearances for Milan in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
