Former Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Svyatoslav Syrota commented on the situation with the dismissal of Veres Rivne head coach Yuriy Virta and recalled his own story related to the club.

Unfortunately, I didn't stay in Rivne long enough, but this city, this team, these people, made me believe in myself... Before that, I was always told that I wasn't good enough... So I had to invite someone else.
It was only later that Lobanovsky returned and began to involve his students - Shovkovsky, Vladyslav Vashchuk, Serhiy Fedoriv, etc.
And at that time, Lobanovskyi, who transferred me from Kolotov's double to the first team, was out of the country. And I felt like a misunderstanding in football. I am grateful to Volodymyr Bezsonov, who was the coach of the double team at the time, who supported me.
And here I am in Rivne. A guy who seems to be good at something, who was once a member of the USSR youth team, twice the USSR champion among the reserve teams, and who seems to be unwanted in the adult game.
And then my future friend and senior comrade, the then head coach of Veres, Mykhailo Dunets, whom no one remembers now, although it was thanks to him that the team had a super performance then, invited me. And we did quite well...
But that's another story. I'm talking about something else entirely.
I used to really want to revive Veres. Then there were new investors, owners... They have their own opinions, their own history... Honestly, I was very happy that it worked out. That Veres was pleasing the fans again, that the new stadium was in place, that everything was finally going well.
And then this happens.
In my opinion, Wirth is the best coach at Veres. Of course, after Mykhailo Dunets. I support Yuriy, and I hope that in the future he will not have any negative feelings about this situation. He has done a lot for Rivne, and he deserves a lot of respect!
