Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Jerson Rodriguez, who is currently on loan to Saudi Arabia's Al Wehda, has found himself at the centre of a scandal while on loan to the Luxembourg national team.
According to Luxembourg media reports, the 27-year-old has had a conflict with national team head coach Luc Holtz. There is no information about the nature of the disagreement, but it is known that Rodriguez arbitrarily missed two training sessions of the national team, after which he was kicked out of the team camp just before the Euro 2024 qualification match with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Interestingly, Rodriguez scored a goal and an assist in his previous European Championship qualifier against Liechtenstein (2-0).
It should be added that in addition to the Dynamo player, midfielder Vencan Till also clashed with the Luxembourg national team manager, but he voluntarily left the national team.
