Bulgarian MEP Aleksandar Yordanov, who also served as his country's ambassador to Northern Macedonia from 2001 to 2005, has spoken in surprising terms about the recent Euro 2024 qualifying match between Northern Macedonia and Ukraine (2-3).

"The good news. The Ukraine national team beat the team of Northern Macedonia! Moreover, in Skopje. As long as they are anti-Bulgarian, it will always be so," Yordanov wrote on his Facebook page.

We should add that Yordanov has long been known in Bulgaria for his radical attitude towards the Macedonians.
