Today has given the world several famous people who have closely linked their lives with football:
Photo: fcdynamo.comMykola Pavlov (1954) is a famous Ukrainian coach. In different years, he headed Kolos, Tavriya, Kristall, Dnipro, Mariupol and Vorskla. In 1994/95 season he was invited to Kyiv "Dynamo" to the position of team manager, but during the season became acting head coach and eventually won the championship gold medals with the team. Since 7 December 2016, he has been President of the All-Ukrainian Football Coaches Association.
Gerson Rodrigues (1995) is a Luxembourg footballer and midfielder for Dynamo Kyiv. He is a player of the national team of Luxembourg. Last few seasons he played on loan for various clubs, in particular: Ancaraguju, Troyes. Rodrigues currently defends the colours of Euxpur.
Frank Lampard (1978) is a former English midfielder. He was brought up at West Ham United FC in London, where he started his professional career. He is Chelsea's all-time leading goalscorer. Three-time champion and four-time FA Cup winner. Winner of the Champions League in season 2011/12. He played 106 games for England and scored 29 goals. On February 2, 2017 he announced the end of his professional football career. He has coached Chelsea and Everton.
30 years ago, on 20 June, Dynamo defeated Kremen for the first time to become champions of independent Ukraine! The champion was decided in the last round, when the Dynamo players led by Mykhailo Fomenko beat Kremenchuk Kremenchuk 4-1 away (Topchiev and Leonenko scored two more goals). That was probably the last season in the nineties when any other club could give the Kyivians serious competition. It should be noted that several Dnipro players moved to Dynamo in the future.
