UEFA has unveiled the official mascot for Euro 2024, which will take place in Germany next summer.
The organisation's official website reports that the mascot for Euro 2024 will be a teddy bear. It is noted that "the mascot pays tribute to the popular children's toy, the teddy bear, which is said to have originated in Germany in the early 20th century".
UEFA has also launched a vote for the new mascot's name. Among the options: Albärt, Bärnardo, Bärnheart and Herzi von Bär.
As a reminder, Euro 2024 will take place in Germany from 14 June to 14 July 2024.
