Shakhtar's President Rinat Akhmetov has not yet made a final decision on the dismissal of Igor Jovicevic's coaching staff. The team is due to return to work on 26 June.

Rinat Akhmetov is still considering the proposals of the club's managers Sergei Palkin and Dario Srna.

"There is competition among the club's top managers. Back in May, Palkin led Patrick van Leeuwen (Zorya coach - ed.) by the hand around the Opera Hotel. On the contrary, Srna, having heard about Jovicevic's possible resignation, began to look for a replacement coach in Italy. Earlier it was reported that Shakhtar had allegedly decided to terminate the contract with Jovicevic.
