Belgian Brugge's Ukrainian forward Roman Yaremchuk, who has had a controversial season, has the full confidence of the team's new head coach Ronny Deila.

It is also reported that Deila's decision regarding Yaremchuk was also approved by the management of Brugge, but it is also stated that it could happen largely due to the fact that the club currently has no options to either sell the Ukrainian forward, or give him on loan.
It must be recalled, Yaremchuk joined Brugge last summer from Portuguese Benfica for the record 16 million euros for the Belgian club. During the 2022/23 season he took part in 27 Brugge matches in all competitions, but just 10 times he found himself in the starting line-up. He played an average of 39 minutes per game. Yaremchuk has two goals and two assists, with three yellow cards to his credit.
