Ukrainian and Belarusian athletes meet at the opening of the European Games 2023.
The Belarusian delegation was invited by the Polish Ministry of Sport. Its members included former Dynamo player and coach Oleksandr Khatskevich, former BATE general director Mikhail Zalewski, European Games-2015 sambo champion Stepan Popov, kickboxer Ivan Ganin and archer Karina Kozlowska (now representing Poland).
Ukrainian 2000 Olympic Games medallist Olena Govorova and Honored Master of Sport of Ukraine Georgy Zantaraia were photographed together with their Belarusian colleagues.
