It's official. "Shakhtar have extended Yaroslav Rakitskiy's contract

Shakhtar Donetsk defender Yaroslav Rakitskiy has signed a new contract with the club. The agreement will be valid until 30 June 2024.

It will be recalled that Yaroslav is a Shakhtar product. He played for the Orange and Blacks' first team from 2009 to 2019, joined the Shakhtar in the spring of 2022 to take part in the Shakhtar Global Tour for Peace charity matches, and then finally returned to the club in January 2023. In total, the legendary defender has played 340 matches and scored 16 goals for Shakhtar Donetsk. Rakitskiy won 20 trophies with Shakhtar.
