"Tottenham to sign Empoli goalkeeper Vicario

Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is close to joining Tottenham of London, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports on his Twitter account.

The 26-year-old is considered as a replacement for Hugo Lloris, whose contract with Spurs expires in the summer of 2024. Representatives of the Londoners have agreed on the terms of a personal agreement with the Italian goalkeeper. The parties will sign a contract until 2028.

Last season, Vicario played 31 matches in Serie A, keeping his goal dry in seven of them.
