Liverpool newcomer Alexis McCallister told us why he chose the number 10 shirt at the Merseyside club.

"My dad once asked me what number I would wear at Liverpool. When I was moving to Anfield, I knew there were several numbers available, including '10' and '8'.
The number 8 is very important at this club because of Steven Gerrard and his legacy, so I was thinking about it for a long time. In the end, I chose the 10th. I like the number 8 a lot, but it rightfully belongs to Gerrard and has its own history at the club," the Mirror quotes McAllister as saying.
