Belgian side Kortrijk will not buy out Ukrainian defender Oleksiy Sych. The 22-year-old right-back will return to Ukraine after completing his loan.
Alexei SychIt should be noted that Kortrijk had the option to buy the player's contract for EUR 2 million. However, financially the Belgian club cannot afford the transfer. A full transfer could happen provided that Kortrijk would receive a bigger offer than EUR 2 million, and would resell the Ukrainian. However, there were no such options.
Last season Sych played 14 matches for Kortrijk, in which he scored 1 goal and provided 1 goal assist. Oleksiy Sych's contract with the Ruh is valid until the summer of 2025.
