Villarreal's leader can move to Barcelona for nothing

Villarreal midfielder Dani Parejo could move to Catalan side Barcelona, Relevo reports.

According to the source, the 34-year-old failed to establish contact with the new coach of the Yellow Submarine, Kike Setien, so he is considering changing his club registration. Parejo's current deal with Villarreal runs until next summer, but the club is ready to terminate his contract. Thus, the Spanish midfielder can move to another team for free.

Catalan side Barcelona are interested in Parejo's services, namely the Blue and Gold's coach Javi Hernandez. The Blaugrana manager has already contacted Dani Parejo in the winter.
