Andriy Yarmolenko, the famous player of the White and Blues who played for Dynamo Kyiv from 2006 to 2017, has returned to the club.

Yarmolenko made his debut for Dynamo on 11 May 2008, in a match against Vorskla Poltava. Before that, he played for the reserve team and Dynamo-2.
For almost ten years, he has become a true leader and captain of Dynamo, winning the championship three times, the Ukrainian Cup twice and the Super Cup three times with the Kyiv team. He has been repeatedly named the best player of the season by Dynamo fans, as well as the Footballer of the Year in Ukraine according to various publications.
During this period at Dynamo, Yarmolenko took part in 341 matches in various tournaments (228 in the UPL, 44 in the Europa League, 36 in the Champions League, 27 in the Ukrainian Cup, 6 in the Super Cup), scoring 137 goals (99 in the UPL, 12 in the Europa League, 7 in the Champions League, 19 in the Cup).
Yarmolenko is the all-time leader among the guardsmen of the national team of Ukraine. He currently has 115 matches in the national team.
In August 2017, Dynamo agreed to transfer Yarmolenko to Borussia Dortmund. A year later, he moved to West Ham, where he spent 4 seasons. After that, Yarmolenko spent a season at the UAE club Al Ain, whose contract expired this summer.
Andriy returns to Dynamo as a free agent, having decided to play in his native country in difficult times of war.
