Tottenham of London is close to signing Leicester midfielder James Maddison.
James Maddison, Getty ImagesAccording to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, the Spurs owners have agreed with Leicester to buy the 26-year-old. The transfer fee for the English midfielder will be £40 million. The personal terms of the contract with the player have already been agreed.
Last season, Maddison played 32 matches for Leicester in all competitions, scoring ten goals and providing nine assists.
