"Inter Miami has announced on its official website the appointment of Gerardo Martino as the team's head coach.
Gerardo Martino, Getty ImagesThe club did not disclose the details and term of the new coach's contract. The Argentine coach will replace Phil Neville at the helm of Inter. The 60-year-old specialist's last job was with the Mexican national team, which failed to achieve positive results at the 2022 World Cup.
Martino is also known for his work at Barcelona (2013-14) and the Argentine national team (2014-16). Now he will work with Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets again.
