Ukraine's youth national team midfielder Artem Bondarenko spoke about the team's mood before the match against France in the 1/4 finals of Euro 2023.

After the match against Spain, they gave us a little rest, so we are already approaching [the game against France] with renewed vigour. It's great. We had a few days' rest and rebooted.
I can't tell you what we worked on in the last training sessions - even to you in confidence. But the match with Spain gave us confidence, an understanding that we can also play with the top teams and show good football.
We expect a very difficult game. They are very strong individually. I can't say anything more yet - we haven't analysed them very much in theory yet. But what we already know is that their players are very strong as individual performers. Very strong. There is one injured, but there are three even better than him," Bondarenko said.
