Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine's youth national team midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko spoke together with head coach Ruslan Rotan at a press conference ahead of the Euro 2023 U-21 quarter-final match against France, which will take place on 2 July in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Volodymyr Brazhko (photo: P. Kubanov)- You have already met France in the Euro 2023 U-21 qualifying round. How do you feel before the new game? What can we expect from the opponent? Will it be a different team?
- We have played them twice, we know this team well. The French also know us well. But I think we are not the same team as we were a year ago. We have improved our game and become more focused. I think we will succeed, and we will win.
- Ruslan Rotan said that a lot of the match will be decided by micro duels. Who in your position among the French midfielders can spoil your mood?
- France is a top team, where every player is of a high level. But I'm not afraid of anyone, no matter who plays against me. Similarly, our team is not afraid of the opponent. It doesn't matter who plays against me.
