The Ukraine national team has suffered a loss ahead of its quarter-final clash against France at Euro 2023. The game will be missed by forward Bohdan Vyunnyk.

Viunnyk suffered a hand injury in the final game of the group stage against Spain (2-2). The forward scored a goal but was substituted in the second half. According to the 21-year-old, he tore soft tissue in his arm, which caused him to bleed internally. Therefore, he will not play in the match against France.

Thus, the Ukraine national team has the second loss in the attacking line before the game against France. Vladislav Vanat, who got 2-match suspension after the game of the second round against Romania, will not help the team too - it will expire vs France.

At the same time Mykhailo Mudryk will be able to play for Ukraine. The footballer recovered from the injury, and two days before the game against France he trained in the general group of the team.

The quarterfinal match of Euro 2023 (U-21) France - Ukraine will be held on Sunday, July 2, at Cluj arena in the town of Cluj-Napoca (kick-off - 22:00 Kiev time).
