It's official. Steven Gerrard is the head coach of Al-Ittifaq

Former Rangers and Aston Villa coach Steven Gerrard has officially taken over as head of the Saudi Arabian club Al Ittifaq, Saudi Sky Sport reports.

Earlier it was reported that Gerrard planned to reject the offer from Saudi Arabia, but Al Ittifaq's management found convincing arguments for Steven, and the negotiations last week were successful. Al Ittifaq's bosses promised Gerrard that they would sign several top players from Europe.
