As it turned out, as part of the return to Dynamo Kyiv Andriy Yarmolenko was offered to become the team captain, but the 33-year-old footballer refused such an offer. This was reported by journalist Michael Spivakovskyy on YouTube channel "TaToTake".

At the same time, the experienced midfielder voiced the opinion that the club necessarily needs to retain Georgiy Bushchan, Vitaliy Buyalskiy and the aforementioned Serhiy Sidorchuk in its squad for next season.
It must be recalled that yesterday Yarmolenko was reunited with Dynamo at the starting training camp in Austria, and today he will have his first training session in his old-new team after his return.
