Former SPAL coach Daniele De Rossi is one of the candidates for the position of head coach of the Italian youth national team.
Daniele De Rossi, Getty ImagesAccording to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian federation has added De Rossi's name to the list of potential candidates to replace former U21 coach Paolo Nicolato, who resigned after the team's disastrous performance at the 2023 UEFA European Championship.
It will be recalled that the Italian youth team took 3rd place in Group C, behind France and Switzerland.
