Vitaliy Vernydub, an experienced defender of Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, has decided to retire from football. The 35-year-old centre-back has decided to hang up his boots after 19 years of professional football.
Over the years, Vernydub Jr. has defended the colours of four clubs: "Kryvbas, Zaporizhzhia's Metalurh, Zorya and Azerbaijan's Gabala. He played the most matches in his career for the Luhansk club - 187/7 goals. As for Kryvbas, the defender has played for the Red and Whites twice with a break since 2007.
Vitaliy Vernydub is a two-time bronze medallist of the Ukrainian championship with Zorya, as well as a finalist of the Ukrainian Cup, two-time silver and once bronze medallist of the Azerbaijani championship with Gabala. Finalist of the Azerbaijan Cup.
