Famous former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour, who played for the Canaries from 1992 to 2004, has spoken in glowing terms about his former team's Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Ray Parlour"I must admit I was amazed when Arsenal acquired Zinchenko from Manchester City last summer. I couldn't believe that the team managed to get a player of such qualifications and with such experience.
And last season Zinchenko was great! I think next season he will be a landmark in Arsenal's game as well.
Zinchenko is very mobile in tactical sense: nominally he plays left-back, but constantly shifts to the centre of midfield and if necessary he can be used when playing three defenders. Without such a performer, Arsenal's game would not have changed as dramatically as we saw last season," Parlour told talkSPORT.
