The former head coach of Kyiv Dynamo and the Ukraine national football team Yozhef Sabo commented on the defeat of the Ukraine national youth football team at the hands of Spain (1:5) in the semi-final of Euro 2023 (U-21) and its getting to the semifinal of the tournament.

The opponents were superior in tackling, organisation of the game and finishing off attacks. They were good at transition from defence to attack, getting away from high pressing. And our ball handling is beyond praise.
Our national team players need to work on their clubs to improve their skill level, competent team play and psychological stability, because enthusiasm and desire alone will not get you far," said Sabo.
