"Benfica officially announce the transfer of Angel di Maria

"Benfica has signed a contract with former Juventus striker Angel di Maria, the club's website says.

The Argentine forward joined the Eagles as a free agent after completing the deal with the Old Lady. The 35-year-old footballer's contract runs until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Last season, Angel played 40 matches for Juventus in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.
