Bookmakers have prepared quotes for the outcome of the 2023-2024 season in the Ukrainian championship. In their opinion, there is a clear favourite in the fight for gold. The new season of the Ukrainian football championship starts at the end of July. This will be the second UPL tournament during martial law.
Photo: fcdynamo.comThe tournament will feature 16 teams, including three newcomers. Instead of Ingulets, Metalist and Lviv, Obolon, Polissya and LNZ will take part in the elite division. For the latter two, this will be their first ever season in the UPL. The championship will be defended by Shakhtar, who were 5 points ahead of Dnipro-1 last season.
However, this did not prevent the Shakhtar management from saying goodbye to Igor Jovicevic. In the new season, Patrick van Leeuwen will take charge of Donetsk. The Dutchman was in charge of Zorya last season.
Forecast.
Despite this, bookmakers are confident that Shakhtar will become champions again. The Shakhtar triumph odds are 1.60. Dynamo Kyiv is considered to be the main rival of the Donetsk team.
Lucescu's men finished fourth last season. The White and Blues can be bet on to win the championship at 2.50. The chances of Dnipro-1 and Zorya look less likely:

Who will be relegated to the first league
Bets are also accepted on the teams that will take 15-16th place and go directly to the first league. Obolon is considered the main outsider of the UPL.
The team's relegation is estimated at 2.00. Veres also has a good chance of promotion to the first league (2.20). The main contenders for the transition matches are Metalist 1925 and Chornomorets.
