"AC Milan have officially announced the transfer of striker Daniel Maldini to Empoli.

Maldini, the son of the legendary Milan defender and former director Paolo, spent last season on loan at Spezia, scoring three goals in 44 matches, including one goal against Milan at the San Siro.
