D.C. United head coach Wayne Rooney reacted to Lionel Messi's transfer to Inter Miami.

"Obviously, this is a great moment for MLS. From a commercial point of view, this transfer can do a lot. Messi will attract more viewers to the game from different regions of the world. In his person, MLS is getting perhaps the best player in the history of football.
