As expected, the Ukrainian midfielder of English "Brentford" Yegor Yarmolyuk began preparations for the new season in the first team of his club.

The 19-year-old got into the starting line-up of "Brentford" for yesterday's control match with "Borham Wood" (1:1) and spent the first half on the field. The Ukrainian failed to score.

Recall, in early June, "Brentford" announced the transfer of Yarmolyuk to the first team. And in the last days of the same month, the Ukrainian midfielder signed a new, five-year contract with his club.

Yarmolyuk moved to Brentford a year ago from Dnipro 1. Last season, the Ukrainian was not involved in the matches of the first team of his new club - he played only once in the League Cup. Yarmolyuk played 16 games for Brentford U-21, scoring three goals and two assists.
