Today, 13 July, former Dynamo and Ukraine midfielder Dmytro Mykhailenko, who played for the club from 1994 to 2001, celebrates his 50th birthday. On this occasion, the club president Ihor Surkis congratulated the hero of the day.

On behalf of myself and the entire Dynamo family, let me congratulate you on your 50th birthday. You spent seven wonderful seasons at Dynamo, during which you won the Ukrainian league title seven times, the Ukrainian Cup four times, and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in 1999.
The fans remember you for your high professionalism, diligence and perseverance.
After your playing career, you passed on your experience and knowledge to the younger generation for a long time, and eventually took over the leadership of the main team of SC Dnipro-1. I believe that your coaching talent will be in demand in the future.
On this day, I wish you, Dmytro Stanislavovych, good health, family happiness, strength, energy and inspiration in all your endeavours, as well as family comfort, prosperity and well-being. And, of course, I wish you Ukraine's victory over the Russian invaders and a peaceful sky.
