Former Chelsea coach Frank Lampard commented on the players' attitude to the last rounds of the last Premier League season.

I felt that many players had done so even before the final three rounds - especially those who were going to leave the club last winter and next summer. There was no belief in the team that we could change the mood for the better," Lampard was quoted as saying by Goal.
Last season, Chelsea finished 12th in the English Premier League standings.
